In less than two weeks, the first Joint Staff Training Event will be organised at Gijón in Spain by Magenta Consultoria with the aim to provide trainers and professionals of participating organisations with skills and competences for a better knowledge of EU recognition and transparency tools. This will allow them to get a better understanding of opportunities and procedures for accreditation, certification and validation of knowledge, competences and skills acquired by adults through non-formal and informal learning, while encouraging capacity building and the exchange of good practices. Different examples and case studies will be described and discussed among participants, with an eye on different legislations among countries. The training will include visits to selected local stakeholders and meetings with experts from bodies in charge of validation and certification of learning outcomes.

Magenta Consultoria will follow an eminently practical approach in which the participants are the main focus of the learning process. The expected results of the course will involve the acquisition of practical skills to take advantage of the EU tools so as to improve the recognition of learning outcomes in adult education activities.
