Pascal La Delfa, President of Oltre Le Parole Onlus and leader of the #progettorestore, and Patrizia Russi, manager of the theatre company of the San Patrignano Community, another Italian partner in the European project, will be speakers on Friday 4 June at the event ‘Theatre as an educational tool’, organised by the Franco De Marchi Foundation as part of the Trento Festival of Economics. In response to the theme of the new edition of the Festival ‘The return of the State, enterprises, communities, institutions’, meetings and debates will be held to promote an economy attentive to social issues and mountain welfare in collaboration with the Trentino Third Sector, including the theatre and its value.  There are now many projects, both in Trentino and nationally, proposing theatre and, more generally, the performing arts as an educational tool for involving and activating young people. The question that will be put to the speakers by Federico Samaden, president of the Foundation, will be: what are the future challenges?

Let’s start with the first one, that of bringing the great themes back to the streets, close to people.  The event will be held in Trento’s Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, in compliance with the anti-covid-19 regulations, using a hybrid format in which a number of speakers will take part online.
